Robotics Report - Robotics in LA Wing

Great Robotics News!!

The Vex Protobot robot has gotten the final approval!

Hammond squadron asked first a while ago and CENLA expressed interest recently so we will go in that order. The other squadrons interested in having the robot are Ascension and St. Tammany. Lake Charles, did you say you wanted the robot, too?

I am expecting the robot to stay with a squadron for 6 months, but it can be more or less.

There will be a four hour Robotics session at the LA Wing Training Academy in Lafayette on April 13 and 14, 2013. You all come and we can go through the supplied tutorals that come with the robot.

Note: Robotics can be time consuming, depending on how much you want to get into it.
